|Our winery is nestled in the hills of Silverlake Washington.

wines made from grapes grown in Washington State as
sure to please the palette as well as the senses. Our the
first twelve years in the Santa Clara Valley of California.
About ten years ago Gary and his wife June moved back to
southwest Washington where they grew up. Gary
continued making wine here in Washington, travelling each
year to eastern Washington to purchase grapes for his
hobby. As time passed and the hobby grew into a passion,
Mt St Helens Cellars erupted onto the landscape in the
shadows of the mountain.
|The owners, Gary and June, grew up in southwest Washington and relocated to Central California in the early
1970s. In the mid-1980s they planted a small vineyard of Chardonnay, Zinfandel and table grapes about 24 vines in
all. A couple years later the vineyard was expanded with 950 more vines, 450 Merlot and 500 Cabernet Sauvignon.
The next year the last phase of the vineyard was planted with 50 Sangiovese vines. By 1992 Wilder Vineyards was
